What would life be like without Ebay? For those who are not members, you will see that Ebay has it's own culture. Ebay connects sellers and buyers from all over the country; all over the entire world. The item that you can't purchase at your local store you can locate on Ebay.

I have been a member of Ebay since 1998. My very first purchase was June 18, 1998. I think I bought a junky laser pointer or something similar cheap gadget. Yes, I was there when Ebay had little or no fees. A time when ebooks and webhosting auctions were not available. Ebay has definitely changed. I remember my first official sale: April of '99, A Mark McGwire Olympic card. At the time, I did not want to part that baseball card! But, I needed a little cash and sold it for $95. I was ecstatic! (I was pretty young at the time). 9 years have passed, I have a feedback rating of 100% and proud of it! At times, however,it seems tough, and at times impossible to compete with the mega sellers and companies placing their products and services in every category imaginable.

I have greatly enjoyed my Ebay experience. But, as I said before, it is very hard to compete. I've sold only 27 items since my membership with Ebay began 9 years ago.
