Build the Right Website for success!
The internet is the future, so why buy a cheap domain and /or work with a cheap or poor webhosting company? I am surprised that spend hundreds of dollars a month, even a day trying to pay for PPC traffic or other traffic generators and fail to purchase a good hosting package from a good webhosting company. I remember when I started - I started with a free site and used a free myspace account to start my online "affiliate" business. I went crazy marketing products, services thru my many affiliate programs. I did ok, I guess if you call $500 my first month good. I guess I shouldn't complain, I hear horror stories of people who only make $50 dollars a month. my point being is that i learned - after much reading, learning and way to much "trial and error" work - that your business depends on traffic, function and appearance. Now traffic can be obtained thru many ways, but the way your site functions and it's appearance can greatly hinder or help your business. Like it or not - If your visitors only spend "less than " 10 seconds on your site - you need to look into the function and appearance of your site. It is my belief that if 80% or more of your visitors come and leave in a blink of an eye - they were turn off by the function and appearance of your site. If price is a factor for you - I would suggest you consider this - you maybe paying more for the name Brand and not the service. That is what happened to me with Earthlink webhosting. I tried earthlink because it was a familiar name and because I thought having a large company meant great service. I latter found out that "name Brand" means nothing. In fact, most often you will find that large name brand companies do not own and run their webhosting service, the outsource it from other companies and "resell" it to you at a higher price. When I learned this, I tried IX and Power. Why, because they offer more for less. So price was not the factor, even though the monthly price was a lot less than earthlink - $20 dollars less. But again, my reasoning was not price. it was Bonus' - meaning more for less. With my new sites i was getting free marketing, more and exciting tools, even free speaking characters for your site. But most of all, they provided a better looking and polished site. this helped with appearing professional and attracting more visitors to stay longer and explore further my site.
